Mr. Larry David (Tub) Stalcup, Burkesville, KY (1947-2017)

He was a member of Poplar Grove Church of Christ. He was a successful entrepreneur and business owner, having owned several businesses in the forestry and petroleum industries. He was a native of Cumberland County, KY, and a resident of the county at the time of his death. He was the son of the late William & Louise (Stone) Stalcup. His wife Brookie Williams Stalcup, survives. He leaves five direct living descendants.

Mr. Larry David "Tub" Stalcup of Burkesville, KY passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2017, at the Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville, KY, having attained the age of 69 years, 9 months, and 25 days.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 2pmCT, in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home, 601 N Main Street, Burkesville, KY, with Bro. James McDonald officiating. Burial will be in the Christian Chapel Cemetery in Cumberland County, KY. The family will receive friends after 5pmCT Friday, February 17, 2017 until the funeral hour on Saturday.

He was born in Cumberland County, KY on Sunday, April 20, 1947, the son of William & Louise (Stone) Stalcup. He died Tuesday, February 14, 2017, in Burkesville, Cumberland County, KY KY, having attained the age of 69 years, 9 months, and 25 days.

He was a member of Poplar Grove Church of Christ. He was a successful entrepreneur and business owner, having owned several businesses in the forestry and petroleum industries.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Freddy Stalcup and his grandson, Ethan Morgan.

He is survived by his wife, Brookie Williams Stalcup, Burkesville, KY, and the following:
  • A son: Michael (and Kimmy) Stalcup, Burkesville, KY

  • A daughter: Michelle (and Jason) Cash, Burkesville, KY

  • His grandchildren, Heather Stalcup, Katlyn Stalcup, Sarah Jane Stalcup, Andruw Morgan, and Eli Morgan.
