Daryl Branham, 64, Adair County, KY (1952-2017)

He was a United States Air Force Veteran and will be accorded full military honors by VFW Post 6097 at committal rites. He was retired from Whitney & Whitney Lumber. He was a native of Cumberland County, KY and a resident of Adair County at the time of his death. He was a member of an outstanding family, the son of Nelson & Frances Hodges Branham, who survive. His wife, Jane Whitney Branham, survives.

Daryl Branham, 64, of Columbia, died unexpectedly Saturday, February 11, 2017 at his home.

A celebration of Daryl's life will be held Thursday, February 16, 2017 at 2pmCT, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Patton & Bro. Steve Pescosolido officiating. Burial will follow the service in Haven Hill Cemetery, 1276 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY, will full military honors presented by VFW Post 6097. Visitation after 4pmCT, Wednesday.



Daryl Branham, 64, Adair County, KY (1952-2017)


He was born March 13, 1952 in Cumberland County, KY. He was the son of Nelson & Frances Hodges Branham, who survive. He died Saturday, February 11, 2017, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 64 years, 10 months, and 29 days.

He was a United States Air Force Veteran and was retired from Whitney & Whitney Lumber.

Survivors include:
  • His wife: Jane Whitney Branham of Columbia, KY

  • His parents: Nelson & Frances Hodges Branham of Columbia, KY

  • One sister: Pat (Ron) Coomer of Cecilia, KY

  • Sister-in-law & brother-in-law: Nan & Chris Cole of Columbia, KY

  • Nephews: Kyle (Lara) Coomer, Ryan Cole & his daughter, Madison.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Diabetes Foundation, the American Cancer Society or the St. Baldwick Pediatric Cancer Research would be appreciated. These may be made at the funeral home.
