Nancy Guinn Taylor, 73, Burkesville, KY (1943-2017)

She was a member of Claywell Chapel Church and had worked as several sewing factories in the area. She was a native of Clinton County, KY, and a resident of Cumberland County at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late Ernest Willard & Opal Cleo Suratt Guinn. Her husband, Edmund Taylor, survives. She leaves three direct living descendants.

Nancy Taylor age 73 of Burkesville, KY passed away on Friday, February 03, 2017 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green, KY.

Funeral service will be Monday, February 06, 2017 at 1pmCT, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N Main Street, Burkesville, KY with burial in Guinn Cemetery. Family requests visitation, 1pm-9pmCT, Sunday, February 05, 2017 at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home.

Nancy Taylor, was born on February 25, 1943 in Clinton County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Ernest Willard & Opal Cleo Suratt Guinn. She died Friday, February 03, 2017 in Bowling Green, Warren County, KY, at the age of 73 years, 11 months, and nine days.

She was a member of Claywell Chapel Church and had worked as several sewing factories in the area.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three siblings, Waymon Guinn, Virginia Pruitt, and Sharon Kempton.

Survivors include:
  • Her husband: Edmond Taylor of Burkesville, KY

  • Two sons: Nathan(Cheryl)Taylor of Elizabethtown, KY; and Todd Taylor of Burkesville, KY

  • Two sisters: Wanda(Earl)Branham and Twila(Gary)Anderson all of Burkesville, KY

  • One granddaughter: Ciara Taylor of Elizabethtown, KY

  • and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends
