Scott Alan Alsager, Taylor Co., KY/Iowa native (1955-2017)

He was a retired electronic engineer and of the Lutheran faith. He was a native of Des Moines, Iowa and a resident of Campbellsville, KY, at the time of his death. He was the son of the late Kenneth H. & Marjorie J. (Booth) Alsager. His wife of over 39 years, Diania R. Alsager, survives. He leaves eight direct living descendants.

Mr. Scott Alan Alsager of Campbellsville died on January 27, 2017 at his home.

Mr. Alsager requested cremation and will be inurned in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, 700 Old U.S. 68, Campbellsville, KY, at a later date. There was no public visitation.

Born on December 19, 1955 in Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa. He was the son of the late Kenneth H. & Marjorie J. (Booth) Alsager. He died Friday, January 27, 2017 in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY at the age of 61 years, on month, and 8 days of age.

He was a retired electronic engineer.

On April 30, 1977, he married Diania R. Lee, who survives. Mr. Alsager professed faith in Christ and was of the Lutheran faith.

Besides his wife, Diania R. Alsager, he is also survived by:
  • A son: Nicholas Alsager and wife Renee of Campbellsville, KY

  • A daughter: Melinda Young and husband Robbie of Magnolia, KY

  • Six grandchildren: Jaide, Chloe, Rhyder, Maggie, Rhylee, and Xavier.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made in the form of donations to Hosparus of Green River. Those may be made in person at the funeral home.
