Dennis Hopper Selby, 50, of Louisville, KY passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2017, at Baptist East Hospital in Louisville, KY.

Funeral services for Dennis Hopper Selby will be at 10amCT, Saturday January 28, 2017, at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY with Bro. Don Hatton officiating. Friends may visit after 5pmCT on Friday, January 27, 2017, at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Jamestown City Cemetery, 201 N Main, Jamestown, KY.


Dennis Hopper Selby, Russell Co., KY (1966-2017)

He was born in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY on March 21, 1966, a son of Vivian (Foley) Flanagan and Billy B. Selby. He died Tuesday, January 24, 2017, in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, at the age of 50 years, 10 months, and three days.

He is survived by wife, Denishia (Swanson) Selby, of Louisville, KY and the following:
  • Father Billy B. (Terry) Selby, Russell Springs, KY

  • Mother: Vivian (Foley) Flanagan, of Jamestown, KY

  • Paternal grandmother: Lula Selby, Jamestown, KY

  • Sons: Evan and Matt Selby, of Louisville, KY

  • Brother: Eric (Heather) Selby, of Russell Springs, KY

  • Step brother: Clint Flanagan, of Russell Springs, KY

  • Step sister: Monica Grimell, of Pittsford, NY

  • Nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by his step father, Rudy Flanagan.
