She was a homemaker and a member of Jamestown First Baptist Church. She was a native of Auburn, KY, and a resident of Russell Springs, KY, at the time of her death in Somerset, KY. She was the daughter of the late Joe B. & Florine Catherine Farmer Taylor. Her husband, Joe Riley White, survives. She leaves three direct living descendants.

Lula "Lou" White, 72, of Russell Springs, KY, died Thursday, January 12, 2017 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 4pmCT, Sunday, January 15, 2017 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Scott Russell officiating. Visitation is 2pm-4pmCT, Sunday.

She was born December 5, 1944 in Auburn, Logan County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Joe B. & Florine Catherine Farmer Taylor. She died Thursday, January 12, 2017, in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY, at the age of 72 years, one month, and seven days.

She was a homemaker and a member of Jamestown First Baptist Church.

Survivors:
  • Husband: John Riley White, Russell Springs, KY

  • One daughter: Tonya (Randall) Meece, Jamestown, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Brittany (Luke) Stephens, Russell Springs, KY; abd Johnathon Meece, Jamestown, KY

  • One sister: Barbara Taylor, Russellville, KY

  • One sister-in-law: Jessie Hammond, Russellville, KY

  • One brother-in-law: Henry David White, Lewisburg, KY
