Letter: Memories of when Mr. Coomer was principal Chris Reeder writes: I remember a story my late dad, Greg Reeder told of Mr. Coomer. One day while supposed to be at school he and some buddies decided it would be a good day to shoot some pool at the pool room. While enjoying themselves Mr. Coomer dropped by the pool room and picked them up and took them back to school. That afternoon when dad rushed to get on the school bus Mr. Coomer met him and said, "I'll just take you home, it's on my way." Of course my dad thought if he could get on the bus and get home then his mother, Joyce Reeder, wouldn't have to know of the incident. Needless to say the apple tree lost another limb that day. - Chris ReederMobile Comments re A favorite old photo from Mike Watson: ACHS Principal 1963 This story was posted on 2017-01-11 15:49:50
