Charles Scott Grider, 56, of Jamestown, KY passed away on Thursday January 5, 2017, in Jamestown, KY.

Funeral services for Scott Grider will be at the Jamestown Christian Church, 65 South Main ST, Jamestown, Russell Co., KY. in Jamestown, KY, at 11amCT, on Monday January 9, 2017, with Bro. Jason Walters officiating. Friends may visit on Sunday January 8, 2017, after 4pmCT, at the Jamestown Christian Church. Burial in the Jamestown City Cemetery, 201 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY.

Charles Scott Grider, Jamestown, KY (1960-2017)

He was born in Yuma, AZ on September 24, 1960, a son of Virginia (Booher) and Charles R. Grider of Jamestown, KY. He died Thursday, January 5, 2017, in Jamestown, Russell County, KY, at the age of 56 years, three months, and 12 days.

He was an insurance agent and a member of the Jamestown Christian Church.

He was the husband of Marketta (Bell) Grider, of Jamestown, KY, who survives.

He is also survived by:
  • Three daughters: Jordan B. and Allison N. Grider, both of Bowling Green, KY; and Whitney B. Grider (Bryon Ellis), of Lexington, KY

  • Three sisters: Vickie (Phil) Grigson, of Paris, KY; Rhonda (Paul) Fister, of Lexington, KY; and Stacey,(Scott) Wade, of Winter Springs, FL

  • Grandson: Atlei Scott Norris, of Bowling Green, KY

  • A host of nieces and nephews
