George Clatis Frederick, age 82, of Liberty KY, passed away Friday, December 30, 2016, at the Liberty Care Center.

Funeral services will be held at 11amCT/12pmNoonCT, Tuesday, January 3, 2017, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY. The service will be officiated by Bro. Ron Robinson and burial will follow in the Middleburg Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday, January 2, 2017 from 5pmCT/6pmET to 8pmCT/9pmET.


George Clatis Frederick, 82, Casey County, KY (1934-2016)


Born September 7, 1934, in Casey Co., KY, he was the son of the late Steve and Lula Coleman Frederick. He died Friday, December 30, 2016, in Liberty, Casey County, KY, at the age of 82 years, three months, and 23 days.

He worked as a farmhand and was a member of the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. George also had a love for people.

Survivors include:
  • One nephew: Steven Frederick

  • Four nieces: Kathy Cox, Mary Frederick, Cynthia Harris and Vicki Frederick
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Gene Clayton Frederick; one sister, Maude Ann Frederick; and two nieces, Janie Nichols and Roberta Houser.

In lieu of flowers donations are recommended to be made to Casey County Adult Day Care, 39 KY HWY 49, Liberty, KY 42539.
