Melanie Lawson, 54, of Russell Springs, died Sunday, December 25, 2016 at the Russell County Hospital.

The family chose cremation, with a memorial service to be held at a later date.

She was born September 9, 1962 in Russell County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Clyde & Barbara Grider Lawson. She died Sunday, December 25, 2016, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 54 years, three months, and 16 days.

She was a homemaker and a member of Welfare Baptist Church.

  • Grandchild: Trace Miller Lawson, Russell Springs, KY

  • Brother: Michael Carl Lawson, Iowa
