Mr. Rodney Cross, Taylor County, KY (1960-2016) Mr. Cross professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Good Hope Baptist Church. He installed floor tile, and was a talented singer and cook. He enjoyed barbequing, gardening, hunting and fishing, and was a leading example to kids as a little league soccer and baseball coach. There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Cross on Friday, December 23, 2016 at 6pmCT/7pmET,in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Road, Campbellsville, KY. Rev. J. Alvin Hardy will be officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, December 23, 2016, from 3pmCT/4pmET, until time for the service. Mr. Cross will be cremated after the funeral and his ashes will be laid to rest in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, 700 Old U.S. 68, Campbellsville, KY, at a later date. Mr. Rodney Cross, Taylor County, KY (1960-2016) Mr. Rodney Cross of Campbellsville, KY was the son of the late William and Willa (Johnson) Cross. He was born in Chicago, Cook County, IL, on August 11, 1960. He departed this life on Friday, December 16, 2016 at the Taylor Regional Hospital,Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, after a brief illness. He was 56 years, 4 months, and 5 days of age.
