Two charged with methamphetamine possession in Russell Co.

RUSSELL SPRINGS, KY (16 Dec 2016) - 24-year-old Corey Stone, of Columbia and 29-year-old Johnny Brandt, of Jamestown, were arrested at 10:32pmCT on Thursday, December 15, 2016, following a traffic stop.

Stone was charged with No Registration Receipt, Improper Registration Plate, Failure of owner to maintain required Insurance, License to be in Possession, Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Meth), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree.

Brandt was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree. Both men were lodged in the Russell County Jail.

Note: An individual charged by police or in a warrant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding
