She was a an educator in the Cumberland County School District and was a member of the Burkesville United Methodist Church. She was the daughter of the late Fayette and Alma Bybee Williams and the widow of Herman Booher.

Mrs. Drusilla Williams Booher of Burkesville, KY, died on Saturday, December 10, 2016, at The Cumberland Valley Manor in Burkesville, KY.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at 1pmCT, in The Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home, 601 N Main Street, Burkesville, KY, with Rev. Thomas Wilson officiating. Burial will be in the Burkesville Cemetery in Burkesville, KY. The family will receive friends after 2pmCT on Monday, December 12, 2016 until the funeral hour on Tuesday.



Mrs. Drusilla Williams Booher, Cumberland Co., KY (1925-2016)


She was born in Cumberland County, KY, on Tuesday, November 24, 1925. She was the daughter of Fayette and Alma Bybee Williams. She died Saturday, December 10, 2016, in Burkesville, Cumberland County, KY, at the age of 91 years and 16 days. She was a member of Burkesville United Methodist Church and an educator for the Cumberland County Board of Education.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Booher, brothers, John Edd Williams, Howard Williams, and sisters, Bonnie Melton and Georgia Anderson.

She is survived by the following:
  • Her sons and daughters-in-law: John and Audrey Booher of Lexington, KY; Barney and Kim Booher of Georgetown, KY, and Jeff and Kelli Booher of Burkesville, KY

  • and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
