LWC Women's Basketball at IU Southeast today, 10 Dec 2016

COLUMBIA, KY - The No. 5-ranked Lindsey Wilson women's basketball team travels to New Albany, Indiana for a road matchup against Indiana Southeast Saturday at the IU Southeast Activities Center at IU Southeast Activities Center, 4201 Grant Line Road (Campus), New Albany, IN 47150 at 11amNoonCT/1pmET.



The Blue Raiders (9-0) last played on Dec. 3 picking up an 88-65 road victory over then No. 4-ranked Campbellsville (KY) Lindsey Wilson had six players finish in double figures. J'Nayah Hall and Kayla Styles led the way with 15 points each. Chanel Roberts chipped in with 14 points. Kayla Richardson, Courtney Sandlin and Malerie Martin each had 10 points. The Blue Raiders set season-highs in field goal percentage (.567) and assists (34) in the victory.

The IUS Grenadiers (7-2) defeated Berea (KY) 82-62 on Thursday. Baylee Krueger scored a team-high 14 points and had seven rebounds. Josie Hockman had 11 and Madi Woods had 10 points in the victory. IU Southeast forced 20 turnovers. Annie Thomas leads the team in scoring with 12.3 points per game.

Saturday's matchup is the 29th meeting between the two schools. Lindsey Wilson holds a 23-5 edge in the series.
