Deborah Faye Brown age 59 of Tompkinsville, KY, passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY.

Funeral services will be held 1pmCT, Sunday, December 11, 2016, at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY; with burial in the Dire Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5pmCT, until 8pmCT, Saturday, December 10, 2016, and after 9amCT, Sunday at the funeral home.



Deborah Faye Brown (Perkins), Metcalfe Co., KY (1956-2016)


She was the daughter of the late Roy Perkins and Betty Brown Lyons of Edmonton, KY, who survives. She was born December 15, 1956 and died December 7, 2016, in Glasgow, Barren County, KY, at the age of 59 years, 11 months, and 22 days.

She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

Besides her mother she is survived by the following:
  • Three daughters: Teresa (Michael) Dire of Edmonton, KY; Crystal (Rick) Brimberry of Summer Shade, KY; and Judy Hale of Russell Springs, KY

  • Three brothers: Roger Perkins of Edmonton, KY; Greg Perkins, Columbia, KY; and Zebbie Perkins of Michigan

  • Three sisters: Gracie Burdn of Elizabethtown, KY; Velma England of Edmonton, KY; and Amanda Perkins of Glasgow, KY

  • Eight grandchildren

  • One great grandchild
Besides her father she was preceded in death by a sister Linda Brown and a grandson Jerry Dale Woodcock.
