Harlan (Bubby) Anderson, 74, Burkesville, KY (1942-2016)

He was the owner of J.H. Anderson Logging. He was a native of Cumberland County, KY, and a resident of the county at the time of his death. He was the son of the late William Paul Anderson and Georgia Williams Anderson. His wife, Betty Moyers Anderson, a native of Campbellsville, KY who worked at Community Trust Bank in Columbia for many years, survives. He leaves one direct living descendant, his son, Chase Anderson. He attended Stony Point Baptist Church

Harlan "Bubby" Anderson age 74 of Burkesville, KY passed away suddenly on Thursday, December 01, 2016.

Funeral service will be Sunday, December 04, 2016 at 3pmCT at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N Main Street, Burkesville, KY with burial in Perkins Cemetery. The family requests visitation after 5pmCT, Saturday, December 03, 2016 at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home.

Harlan (Bubby) Anderson, 74, Burkesville, KY (1942-2016)

Bubby was born on March 09, 1942 in Cumberland County, KY. He was the son of the late William Paul Anderson and Georgia Williams Anderson. He died Thursday, December 1, 2016, at the age of 74 years, eight months, and 22 days.

He was the owner of J. H. Anderson Logging, and attended Stony Point Baptist Church.

Survivors include:

  • His wife: Betty Moyers Anderson of Burkesville, KY

  • One son: Chase Anderson of Burkesville, KY

  • Two brothers: Edward (and Drusilla)Anderson and Jackie (and Melissa) Anderson all of Burkesville, KY

  • Two sisters: Joyce (and E.B.) Groce of Burkesville, KY, and Judy (and Joe David) Jones of Shepherdsville, KY

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
