LWC wrestling competes against Indiana Tech 29 Nov 2016 By Anthony Latessa COLUMBIA, KY - The No. 11-ranked Lindsey Wilson wrestling team competes against No. 2-ranked Indiana Tech in a dual meet beginning at 6pmCT, Tuesday, November 29, 2016, at Jeffersonville High School, 2315 Allison Lane (Campus), Jeffersonville, IN. The Blue Raiders last competed on November 19 in the Shorter Open in Rome, Georgia. Jake Burroughs won the championship in the 133-pound bracket. Cam Tessari (ranked No. 1 at 157 pounds) won the title at 157 pounds. Colton Gonzalez reached the championship in the 174-pound bracket where he fell to Southeastern's Zach Colgan. Heavyweights Raynel Brown and Luke Shaffer both placed in the top six. Brown and Shaffer faced each other in the consolation semifinals with Brown picking up a victory. Brown then went on to win the consolation bracket. Corey Hinkle reached the consolation finals at 184 pounds and was defeated to finish fourth. Kohl Dodd finished fourth in the 197-pound bracket. Kadin Scoggins and Lucas Miozza both reached the consolation semifinals at 125 and 184 pounds, respectively. The two teams met last season with Indiana Tech picking up a 31-18 victory.
