Diane Wallace: Sundog spotting nearly a spiritual experience

The recent Sundog discovery at this link moved this spotter to write about it.

By Diane Wallace

My first impression was, is this a rainbow? I could not even imagine how what I was seeing could be created.

After sighting the Sundog and having no idea what it was, no one I spoke to had seen it, nor knew what I was talking about. When I saw your photo I was thrilled someone knew what it was.

When I first saw the the Sundog it was totally unobstructed, straight up in the sky and appeared to be directly over my friend's house at 415 Young Street... it was at this point I was approaching Holloway Center when I noticed LWC traffic behind me and around me :)

It was incredible, nearly a spiritual experience!
