She was a native of Green County, a resident of the county at the time of her death, and final resting place will be in Summersville, Green County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Ford Beams and Mary Elizabeth "Mae" Cowherd Beams, and the widow of Robert A Buchanan, her husband of over 62 years. Bro. Ty Clenney and Bro. Blake Jessie officiating. Visitation was after 8amCT, Saturday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home until time of the funeral service. Pallbearers: Jerry Hall, Danny Buchanan, Lowell Miller, Terry Bishop, Terry Aaron, and Donnie Buchanan.
