She was the daughter of the late Ford Beams and Mary Elizabeth "Mae" Cowherd Beams, and the widow of Robert A Buchanan, her husband of over 62 years. The funeral services for Mrs. Juanita Beams Buchanan was conducted at 1pmCT, Saturday, November 19, 2016 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial in the Green County Memory Gardens. Bro. Ty Clenney and Bro. Blake Jessie officiating. Visitation was after 8amCT, Saturday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home until time of the funeral service. Pallbearers: Jerry Hall, Danny Buchanan, Lowell Miller, Terry Bishop, Terry Aaron, and Donnie Buchanan. She was 88 years, two months, and 11 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Greensburg Baptist Church. She was also a clerk for the former Henderson's five & dime, and a homemaker. She united in marriage to Robert A. Buchanan on December 24, 1947 who preceded her in death on June 13, 2010.
