International Education Week at LWC starts 14 Nov 2016

Lindsey Wilson College annual "International Education Week" will be observed with events on November 14, 15, and 17, 2016. The public is invited to join us as we celebrate the rich cultural diversity of LWC's student population through food, song, dance, spoken word and other forms of performance art. Thanks to the generosity of several local businesses, private persons, faculty and students, the events are free and open to the public.



November 14, 2016
- 6pm to 7:30pmCT - Explore Asian Culture.Norma & Glenn Hodge Center, 402 Helen Flatt Drive, Columbia, KY About Korea. Presentations & Food. Korean Military & Tradition. Hangul Language & History of North & South Korea. Japan- What you thought you knew. Traditional Dancing. Piano Performance "Sakura Sakura" Mythology & Folklore. Chop Stick Contest.
November 15, 2016: Info Sessions throughout the Day

- 12:30pm-1:20pmCT - Mi Plagiarism Es Su Plagiarism? How is Plagiarism viewed differently in the US?, Roberta D. Cranmer Dining Center, 430 Helen Flatt Drive, Columbia, KY.

This event was established by the US Department of the State, and is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. The Lindsey Wilson College currently serves 109 international students from 39 different countries.
