Crash on Interstate 65 north near mile marker 31 creates detour

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (7:31amCT - Mon 7 Nov 2016) - A crash on Interstate 65 near mile marker 31 in Warren County is blocked due to a major crash. One lane is open, but traffic is moving extremely slow as cleanup continues.

Motorists are advised to use the signed detour setup at exit 28. Motorists will get off at exit 28 onto KY 446, then proceed right onto U.S. 31-W, then take a right on U.S. 68 near Warren East High School. Motorists will stay on U.S. 68 for about 7 miles to KY 101, then take a right onto KY 101 to get back on I-65 at Smiths Grove. The detour is expected to be setup for approximately 1 hour, but it could be longer.
