School arrangements for Raquel Anyega funeral services

School arrangements for Raquel Anyega funeral services A statement from Superintendent Alan W. Reed

We have received the funeral arrangements for Raquel Anyega from Grissom-Martin Funeral Home:
Visitation will be Sunday, November 6, 2016, after 3pmCT. The funeral will be Monday, November 7, 2016 at 12pmNoonCT. Visitation and funeral will both be at Adair County Middle School Gymnasium, 322 Gen John Adair Drive, Columbia, KY.
Originally there was no school on Monday due to parent-teacher conferences. In light of the funeral schedule, and out of respect for the Anyega family, the parent-teacher conferences that were scheduled for Monday afternoon will be cancelled and rescheduled at a later date.

I would also like to remind you that there will be no school Tuesday due to the presidential election.

This has been a tough week for all of us in this community. Our continued thoughts and prayers go out to the families.

Alan Reed, Superintendent
