Letter: The girls had a grand time at Treats on the Town

Joni Jessie writes:
Those young trick-or-treaters are Lauren (age 1) & Baylee Jessie (age 3). Baylee was dressed as Skye from Paw Patrol and Lauren (riding in the stroller) was a lady bug. Lee and Joni Jessie are their parents, and their grandparents are Jr. & Donna Jessie of Columbia (Jessie's Fruit Market) and Earl & Linda Miller of Jamestown.

The girls had a grand time in a family-friendly atmosphere and would like to thank each business, individual and church that gathered to pass out goodies. We hope everyone had a safe and happy halloween. --Joni Jessie

Raggedy Ann captivated by charming trick or treaters

2016-11-01 - Durham & Zornes, 130 Public Square, Columbia, KY. - Photo by Innocent Bystander.
Raggedy Ann, seated, writes, "You never know who will show up at Treats on the Town," was captivated to two charming very young ladies--Lauren (age 1) & Baylee Jessie (age 3)-- trick or treating J.D. Zornes, handing out candy in his Halloween outfit, a Columbia Rotary Club baseball cap. The operation was set up in front of the law firm of Durham & Zornes. Raggedy Ann did not say so, but a great deal of the credit for the Best Treats on the Town/Squarecrow/Story Trail® event ever held in the history of Columbia, Adair County, KY, goes to Attorney Zornes wife, Ellen. - Linda & Ed
