Phillip Brown passed away Sunday, October 30, 2016 at his home in Danville, KY. He was 55.

A private graveside service was held Monday, October 31, 2016 at Shady Grove Cemetery for Mr. Phillip Brown.


Phillip Brown, 55, Casey County, KY (1961-2016)

Born July 4, 1961 in Casey County, KY, he was the son of the late James Wilbur and Dorothy Vaught Brown. He died Sunday, October 30, 2016, at his home in Danville, Boyle County, KY, at the age of 55 years, three months, and 26 days.

He was a gate hauler and of the United Methodist faith. He volunteered at Grace Cafe Restaurant.

Survivors include:
  • A brother: J.C. Brown of Liberty, KY

  • Four sisters: Deborah Kay Brown Woodall of Danville, KY; Wanda Faye Terry of Liberty, KY; Dixie Rae Wilcher of Cincinnati, Ohio; and Edwinna Mae Rodgers of Liberty, KY

  • And a host of nieces and nephews
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three brothers, Leon Roy Brown, Donald Dean Brown, and Dowell Brown; and a sister, Patricia Gay Brown.
