Metcalfe Schools College & Career Fair exceeds expectations

By Eric Sexton

Thursday, September 29, 2016 the Metcalfe County School district hosted their annual college and career fair for 3rd through 12th grade students.

Forty-six vendors from colleges, military, technical schools and local businesses set up in the middle and high school gyms throughout the school day. Over 1200 students had the opportunity to meet with vendors and discuss career goals and learn more about our local businesses.

The event, chaired by College & Career Readiness Counselor Eric Sexton was a collaborative effort between district central office and each school. A special thanks to our participants and staff. The Metcalfe County School website: www.metcalfe.kyschools.us
