Ruth Heady Warner, 70, Taylor Co., KY (1945-2016)

She had retired from Wal-Mart where she had worked in the bakery. She was a native of Indianapolis, IN, and a resident of Campbellsville, KY, at the time of her death. She was the widow of Edward L. Warner. She leaves five direct and one step living descendants.

Ruth Heady Warner, age 70, of Campbellsville, KY, died Monday, October 17, 2016 at her home following and illness.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10amCT/11amET, Wednesday, October 19th at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home, 503 E Main Street, Campbellsville, KY, with burial to follow in the Green River Valley Separate Baptist Church Cemetery in Casey County, KY. The family requests visitation 8am-10amCT/9am-11amET, Wednesday, prior to the funeral service.


Ruth Heady Warner, 70, Taylor Co., KY (1945-2016)

Ruth was born December 16, 1945 in Indianapolis, Marion County, IN. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Gladys Heady. She died Monday, October 17, 2016, in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 70 years, eight months, and one day.

She married Edward L. Warner on December 27, 1963 and he preceded her in death on March 8, 1996. Also preceding her in death was a niece, Sheila Cox.

Ruth had retired from Wal-Mart where she had worked in the bakery.

She is survived by the following:
  • A daughter: Alisha Robinson

  • A stepson and his wife: Tom and Karen Warner

  • Four grandchildren: James Warner, Kalia Wilson and C.J. Rock, Steven Wilson, Alax Good

  • A great-grandson: Aiden Rock

  • Three sisters: Joyce Heady, Barbara Miller and Pat Nelson

  • Four brothers: Gary Heady, Jimmy Heady, Larry Heady and Mikey Heady

  • A special family friend: Ray Good

  • A special niece and nephew: Tammi Hargraves and David Robinson.
