She professed faith in Christ and attended First Church of God. She was a retired employee of Taylor County Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Lacy Campbell and Annie Bailey Campbell, and the widow of Kenneth Smith and later of Carl J. Stovall. She leaves one direct living descendant.

Funeral service will be at 10amCT/11amET, Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, by Pastor Evan Tedder. Burial will be in Gaddis Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET,Monday, October 17, 2016 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.

Gladys Campbell Smith Stovall of Campbellsville, KY, was the daughter of the late Lacy Campbell and Annie Bailey Campbell. She was born April 10, 1932, in Taylor County, KY.. She died at Friday, October 14, 2016 in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 84 years, six months, and six days.

She professed faith in Christ and attended First Church of God.

She was a retired employee of Taylor County Hospital.

Gladys united in marriage to Kenneth Smith who preceded her in death in 1976. She later united in marriage to Carl J. Stovall who preceded her in death in 1997.

She is survived by the following:
  • Her son: Kenny Smith of Campbellsville, KY

  • Her sister: Judy Campbell Osborne and husband, Rodger of Stuart, FL

  • Nieces and nephews

  • And many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, Rollin Campbell in 2001.
