Click on headline for story with photo(s) By Ed Waggener Judge Mike Stephens recommended that Melanie Willis be hired as a part-time employee at the Adair County 911 Center. His recommendation was approved 7-0 on a motion by Magistrate Perry Reeder (District 4), and a second by Greg Caldwell (6), with Magistrates Harold Burton (1), Sammy Baker (3), Billy Dean Coffey (5), Terry Hadley (7) and CJE Mike Stephens joining in the affirmative. New fulltime secretary in Judge's Office The court unanimously approved Judge Stephens' recommendation to hire Bridget Compton as a Full Time Secretary in the CJE's office, at a salary of $10.50 per hour. Also, Judge Stephens introduced his new Deputy CJE, Andrea Waggener, who attended the meeting. Mr. Stephens said that her official employment will start Monday, October 17, 2016.
