Orpha Wooten Hudson, 95, of Russell Springs, died Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at the Somerwoods Nursing & Rehab in Somerset.

The funeral service for Orpha Hudson will be at 1pmCT on Friday, October 14, 2016 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 Main St, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Jim Coffey officiating. Visitation will be after 11amCT on Friday. Interment in the Clear Springs Cemetery.

She was born August 2, 1921 in Casey County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Hershel & Gertrude Delk Wooten. She died Tuesday, October 11, 2016, in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY at the age of 95 years, two months, and nine days.

She was a homemaker and a member of Clear Springs Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands Wilbur Coffey,Hollis Hudson; a daughter, Kathy Perez; a brother, Veston Wooten; and a sister, Margaret Skaggs.

Survivors include:
  • Five children: Archie Coffey, Shelbyville, IN; Ronnie (Charlotte) Hudson, Russell Springs, KY; Carol (Dwight) Richards, Jamestown, KY; Sharon Warriner, Russell Springs, KY; Timmy (Jeannie) Hudson, Russell Springs, KY

  • Fifteen grandchildren

  • And a host of great- and great-great-grandchildren.
