Adair County Fairgrounds move - Great progess so far Special thanks to Magistrate Terry Hadley, friends from Southern Kentucky Fair, and the Columbia Police Department. Another work day TBA - bucket truck needed to take down lights and sound Click on headline for complete story, photo album By Greg Thomas This past Saturday, the Adair County Fair and Jaycee members continued to work on moving items off the historical Adair County Fairgrounds. We had some special help from Adair County Magistrate Terry Hadley, and friends from the Southern Kentucky Fair, Bowling Green, Al Smith and Robert Rich. While transporting the bleachers to the storage area on Joe Collins' property, the Columbia Police were great at giving assistance. We'll be having another work day soon and we'll get the word out if you'd like to help out. We've still got more bleachers to move, but we're starting to plan on taking down some sound and lights which will take a bucket truck to reach. This story was posted on 2016-10-02 09:38:26
