Jimmie Bright, 77, Taylor Co., KY (1939-2016)

Jimmie “Jim” Bright, age 77, formerly of Taylor County, died Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at his residence in Brooks, Kentucky.

Graveside service will be held at 1pmET on Friday, September 30, 2016 at Jones Chapel Cemetery in Taylor County. Family and friends will gather at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home at 11:30amET, prior to leaving for the cemetery.

He was born on April 17, 1939 in Taylor County to the late Henry Newton Bright and Maple Lee Warren Bright. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Ruth Hash.

He is survived by
  • A son, Barry Bright of Campbellsville
  • Two sisters, Bonnie Jackson of Arizona and Wilma Melton of Indiana
