Mrs. Rose May Houser Parrott, Green County, KY (1931-2016) She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Greensburg Baptist Church. She was a funeral director for over 50 years and co-owner of Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home. Rose was a medical technician, a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, V.F.W. Auxiliary, American Society of Clinical Pathologist, past president in 1977 of the Funeral Directors Association of Kentucky Women's Auxiliary, and 50 year pin recipient from the Funeral Directors Association of Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Roscoe Houser and Annie Belle Boaz House and the widow of Walter Lee Parrott, Sr., her husband of over 46 years. She leaves nine direct living descendants. She was 85 years, seven months, and 28 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Greensburg Baptist Church. She was a funeral director for over 50 years and co-owner of Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home. Rose was a medical technician, a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, V.F.W.
