James Lee Garner, 82, Russell Springs, KY (1934-2016)

He was a plumber and electrician and a member of Coffey's Chapel United Methodist Church. He was a native of Russell County, KY, and a resident at the time of his death. He was the son of the late Ehrlich & Beulah Hopper Garner. His wife, Jean Garner, survives. He leaves 24 direct living descendants.

James Lee Garner, 82, of Russell Springs, died Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at the Russell County, Hospital, Russell Springs, KY.

Funeral service for James Lee Garner will be 10amCT, Thursday, September 22, 2016, at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY with Bro. Roger Garner officiating. Visitation after 5pmCT Wednesday, September 21, 2016. Interment in the Union Cemetery.

James Lee Garner, 82, Russell Springs, KY (1934-2016)

James Lee Garner, was born February 15, 1934 in Russell County, KY. He was the son of the late Ehrlich & Beulah Hopper Garner. He died Tuesday, September 20, 2016, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY. He was 82 years, seven months, and five days of age.

He was a plumber and electrician and a member of Coffey's Chapel United Methodist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Gary Garner and a grandson, Jared Garner.

Survivors include:
  • Wife: Jean Garner, Russell Springs, KY

  • Three children: Vicki Roy, Russell Springs, KY; Michael (Deborah) Garner, Lexington, KY; and Gregory (Sherry) Garner, Versailles, Ky

  • Six grandchildren

  • Fifteen Great grandchildren

  • Sister: Angelene Tomlin, Nicholasville, KY
