Adair Ambulance Service employee suspended

Employee is scheduled for arraignment in Adair Circuit court on October 25, 2016, facing charges totally unrelated to her service with the Adair Ambulance Service
Note: An individual charged by police or in a warrant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.

Adair County Ambulance Service part-time paramedic has been placed placed on suspension without pay pending resolution of criminal charges - not related to her work at the Ambulance Service.



The action was taken following a brief hearing in executive session, at 12pmNoon with all three of the ambulance district's board of directors as well as EMS Manager Tony Bragg present.

The motion to suspend was by Member Doug Sapp, with a second by Member Chris Quinn, with the third, Dr. Robert Brashear, affirming in a 3-0 decision.

Also present was Renee' J. Blackaby, 30 years of age, the suspended employee.

Blackaby is facing an indictment on a charge of Rape in the Third Degree, involving a male under the age of 18, and is free on a $5,000 cash bond. Her arraignment is scheduled for 1pmCT, October 25, 2016, in Adair Circuit Court.
