Evelyn Lee, 90, Casey County, KY (1926-2016) She was the matriarch of a prominent, highly respected Casey County, KY, family. She was a native of Russell County, KY, and a resident of Casey County, KY, at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late Rev. Otha Lee Popplewell and Belva Dunbar Popplewell and the widow of Charles Marion Lee. She was a homemaker and a member of Shady Grove Separate Baptist Church, where she played the piano and guitar. Evelyn was very independent, she enjoyed yardwork and being with her family and friends.
