Betty Ann Miller Gaines, Taylor Co., KY (1934-2016)

Betty lived and worked in Hodgenville, Kentucky before moving to Oak Ridge and Lenoir City, Tennessee, where she has lived for the last 21 years. She had a fun personality and was loved by many. She was a member of a highly regarded South Central Kentucky family, She was the widow of Arthur Russell Gaines. She leaves two direct living descendants, a daughter, Lisa Gaines Uzzle and a grandson, Patrick Uzzle.

Betty Ann Miller Gaines, 81, formerly of Campbellsville, KY, died September 13, 2016 in Knoxville, Tennessee.

The body was cremated and a graveside service for family and friends will be held Monday, September 19, 2016 in Brookside Cemetery at 10amCT/11amET.

She was born December 20, 1934, and died September 13, 2016, at the age of 81 years, eight months, and 24 days.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Russell Gaines; parents, R. A. "Dick" Miller and Virginia Callison Miller; brothers: James Richard "Jim Dick" Miller, Charles Douglas, "C. D." Miller; sisters: Jane Abigail Miller Kennedy Cantrell and Pat Winston Miller Tapscott.

She is survived by:
  • Her daughter: Lisa Gaines Uzzle of Knoxville, TN

  • And her grandson and wife, Patrick and Brooke Uzzle, also of Knoxville, TN
