Clifton Taylor age 76 of Bowling Green, KY passed away on Monday, September 12, 2016 at Magnolia Village in Bowling Green, KY.

Funeral service for Clifton Taylor will be Friday, September 16, 2016 at 2pmCT, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY with burial in Gaines Hill Cemetery. The family requests visitation on Thursday, September 15, 2016 from 4pmCT until 9pmET, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home.



Clifton Taylor, 76, Cumberland Co., KY (1940-2016)

Clifton was born on May 03, 1940 in Cumberland County, KY. He was the son of the late Wheeler and Verda Capps Taylor. He died Monday, September 12, 2016, in Bowling Green, Warren County, KY, at the age of 76 years, four months, and nine days.

He was a member of Hillvue Heights Baptist Church, was a former homebuilder for Taylor Homes, and a veteran of the United States Navy.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Celisa Joy Taylor; three sisters, Ozell Thurman, Inez Eggert, and Virginia Barrow; and two brothers, B. F. Taylor and Malcolm Taylor.

Survivors include:

  • His wife: Sandra Hughes Taylor of Bowling Green, KY

  • Two brothers: Buford Taylor of Burkesville, KY and Carlos Taylor and Linda Morris) of Bowling Green, KY

  • One sister: Dorsey "Ina" Petro (and Bob) of Indianapolis, IN

  • His mother-in-law- Stacha Hughes of Nicholasville, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
