Volunteer Lakeshore Cleanup is Sat 17 Sept 2016

The US Army Corps of Engineers' 30th Annual Volunteer Lakeshore Cleanup will be held on September 17, 2016 this year. Registration and trash pickup are from 9am-NoonET. A free lunch and prize giveaway begins at 12:30pmET at the Green River Lake State Park (Lone Valley) Picnic Shelter.

To participate in trash pickup just show up at one of the following locations: Site One boat ramp, Smith Ridge boat ramp, Holmes Bend boat ramp, or the State Park boat ramp. For more information call 270-465-4463.


Site One Boat Ramp:
Closest address to it is 544 Lake Rd., Campbellsville, Ky 42718

Smith Ridge Boat Ramp:
At the very end of Smith Ridge Rd/State Hwy 372, Campbellsville, Ky 42718

Holmes Bend Boat Ramp:
5380 Holmes Bend Road Columbia, KY 42728

State Park Pavilion:
179 Park Office Road Campbellsville KY 42718

Anyone who brings a boat to help take volunteers out on the shoreline will be given $20 towards the purchase of a Corps Annual Pass by the Friends of Green River Lake. We also want to encourage people who like to kayak to bring their kayaks and help participate in the cleanup!
