Funeral for James William Brown will be 9amCT, Saturday, September 10, 2016 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Bruce Davis officiating. Visitation after 8amCT. Saturday. Interment in the Alfrey Cemetery in Morehead, KY

He was born on July 12, 1992 in Columbia, Adair County, KY. He died September 6, 2016 at the age of 24 years and nine days.

He was a sawmill worker.

He is survived by:
  • His mother: Loretta Thruman Scott, Carrollton, KY

  • His father: Kenneth Wayne Scott, Russell Springs, KY

  • His son: Jaxon Brown, Montgomery, Ky

  • Two brothers: John Fields, Columbia, KY; and Kenneth Brown, Russell Springs, KY
