Wendy Burt Identifies Robert Ellis photo as Mist Flower Mystery plant no longer a mystery Wendy Butler Burt writes: This lovely and abundant flower is Mist Flower (Eupatorium coelestinum), also called Wild or Hardy Ageratum because it resembles the annual garden plant. It is found in moist woods, wet meadows, and other low areas. The species name "coelestinum" means heavenly--in reference to the color of its flowers. --Wendy Butler BurtAbout: Wildflowers of Kentucky: ID needed on fuzzy lavender flower.
