10th Annual Wares Fair held for Lindsey Wilson College 'It is always fun to meet the new students at LWC and see afresh what our community offers!' - ELLEN ZORNES Click on headline for complete article and photo By Ellen Zornes, President Columbia-Adair County Chamber of Commerce The tenth annual Wares Fair held for Lindsey Wilson College students (particularly freshmen) and staff was held August 18, 2016, at Holloway Health and Wellness Center. The students enjoyed and interacted with the many booths with each booth donating a $25 prize and chances to win big cash prizes donated by the sponsors. The event was sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce, Adair Progress, WAIN Radio, TJ Health Columbia and Lindsey Wilson College. Local business community members and local and regional organizations at the Wares Fair this year were: 3trees Church, Adair County Community Voice, Adair Progress, Adanta, All Natural Health Food Store, Anderson's Pizzeria, Bluegrass Cellular, Calvary Temple Church, Cash Express, Chamber of Commerce, Columbia Christian Church, Community Trust Bank, Don Franklin Nissan, Downey Eye Clinic, Dr. Rogers Chiropractic, Duo-County Telecom, Farm2furniture, Fiesta Mexico, First & Farmers National Bank, Genesis Family Medical Center, Goodwill, Hancock Tire, Heavenly Haven Farm, Holloway Health and Wellness Center, Kozy Kabin Rentals, LWC First Year Experience, LWC Service Center, Operation Christmas Child, Reed Brothers Insurance, Summit Manor, TJ Health Columbia, United Citizens Bank, WAIN, and Walmart.
