Traffic Advisory: Concrete failure work to restrict access to KY 49

Section of KY 49 is South Proctor Knott Avenue near norther section of Park Heights

(Thu 1 Sep 2016 4:59amCT) - An inspection of a culvert along KY 49 (South Proctor Knott Avenue) near the northern section of Park Heights indicates a concrete failure has occurred within the culvert beneath the road surface. Work crews will be closing KY 49 and restricting access to the northern intersection of Park Heights. Kentucky Transportation Cabinet engineering staff members are working on a solution for correcting the failure. More information will be posted as details become available.
