Trio of Blue Raiders post wins at Mountain Bike Race

CONYERS, GA - A trio of Blue Raiders posted wins for the Lindsey Wilson cycling team over the weekend at the Georgia Tech Mountain Bike Omnium.




JD Swanguen, Phillip Christmas and Adrian Sanders all collected event wins in their respective dual slalom races.

Swanguen took home first in the men's "A" race, Christmas won the men's "B" race and Sanders raced her way to victory in the women's "A" race.

Corey Ross finished two spots behind Swanguen in the men's "A' dual slalom event in third place out of 20 riders. Dustin Hammond and Jonnie Vance also competed in the men's "A" race finishing 13th and 17th, respectively.

Elida Beeman collected a third-place finish in the women's "A" dual slalom, two spots behind teammate Sanders. Brianna Delamare and Noelle Vidak placed 10th and 11th in the event.

Christmas added another top-three finish after he took third place in the men's "B" short track cross country race out of 17 riders. He later added a 10th place in the men's "B" cross country race.

Josiah Peterson had a pair of top-five placements over the weekend, first taking fourth out of 19 racers in the men's "C" short track cross country event, and following with third-place finish in the men's "C" cross country race.

In the women's "B" cross country race, Sanders led the way with a 12th-place finish, followed by Delamare in 15th and Sharon Archey in 17th. Archey would also finish 13th in the Women's "B" short track cross country race.

Chaz Crays collected an 18th-place finish in the men's "A" short track cross country event.
