Ada Ruth Thompson Whited, Taylor Co., KY (1922-2016) She was of the Christian Faith and was a member of Woodland Christian Church. She was a native of Ohio and a resident of Indiana at the time of her death. She was the matriarch of a large, respected family. She leaves 23 direct living descendants spanning four generations. She will be laid to rest in Taylor County, KY. Funeral services will be conducted at 12pmNoonCT/1pmET, Monday August 15, 2016, at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home, 503 E Main Street, Campbellsville, KY, with Rev. Paul Patton officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service at Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 700 Old U.S. 68, Campbellsville, KY. The family request visitation from 11amCT/12pmNoonCT, until time for the service at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home on August 15, 2016. Ruth was born in Scioto County, Ohio, the daughter of Byrd and Dorothy Lintz Benner. She was a homemaker for many years prior to moving to Indiana to be near her daughters. She was preceded in death by her first husband, George Thompson, as well as her husband, Howard Whited and a son-in-law, Dallas Davis.
