Faye Harrison Cochran of Moreland, KY, passed away Thursday, August, 11, 2016 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. She was 84 years of age.

Funeral services will be held 12pmCT/1pmET, Monday, August 15, 2016 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Steve Martin officiating. Burial will follow in the Gum Lick/Beldon Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET, at the funeral home.



Faye Cochran, 84, Clementsville, KY (1931-2016)

Born November 25, 1931 in Clementsville, Casey County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Elbridge and Mary Pearl Murphy Harrison. She died Thursday, August 11, 2016, in Danville, Boyle County, KY, at the age of 84 years, eight months, and 17 days.

Faye was a member of the Gum Lick Christian Church. She was a great cook and loved gardening.

Survivors include:
  • One daughter: Vanessa (Gary) Porter of Stanford, KY

  • Four grandchildren: Michael Paul Cochran, Letritia Wortham, Cassondra Scott and Kyle Porter

  • Three great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, James Michael Cochran; two brothers, Adrian and Hearl Harrison; and two sisters, Ada Wright and Kathleen Purdy.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gum Lick/Beldon Cemetery.
