She was a member of Palestine Baptist Church. She was a native of Sandwich, IL. She was the daughter of the late Raymond Leroy Vannice and Mary Aline Sluder Vannice, and the widow of Danny R. Ackley. She leaves six direct leaving descendants. Her final resting place will be in Taylor County, KY

Bonnie Ackley, 62, died at 6:50pmET, Friday, August 5, 2016 in Russellville, KY.

There will be a funeral service for Bonnie Ackley, at 9amCT/10amET, Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY by Rev. Danny Pace. Burial will be in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 700 Old U.S. 68, Campbellsville, KY. Visitation will be 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET, Monday, August 8, 2016, at the funeral home.



Bonnie Ackley, 62, Taylor Co., KY (1954-2016)


Bonnie Ackley, 62, was the daughter of the late Raymond Leroy Vannice and Mary Aline Sluder Vannice. She was born May 12, 1954 in Sandwich, IL. She died at Friday, August 5, 2016 in Russellville, Logan County, KY, at the age of 62 years, two months, and 24 days.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Palestine Baptist Church.

She united in marriage to Danny R. Ackley July 25, 1969. He preceded her in death April 9, 2009.

She is survived by the following:
  • One son and one daughter: Danny R. Ackley, Jr. and wife, Michelle of Winchester, KY; and Lisa Ackley and companion, Anthony Sellars of Beaverton, OR

  • Four grandchildren: Danny R. Ackley III, Kahae Sellars, Lakota Sellars and Lorelei Sellars of Beaverton, OR

  • Three brothers and six sisters: Terry Vannice, Randy Vannice and wife, Barbara, Jeff Vannice, Brenda Vannice and Susan Stratton and husband, J.W. of Russellville, KY; Cathy Tungate and Wanda Janes of Campbellsville, KY; Julie Fisher and husband, William of Bradfordsville, KY; and Ruth Warren and husband, Tom of White Mills

  • Several nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends
She was preceded in death by one daughter Angie Ackley February 13, 1994 and one grandson, Raistlin Sellars November 12, 1992.
