Barbara Ann Fair, Casey Co., KY (1947-2016)

She was an avid collector of angels. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Faith Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Marie Wheeler Woodrum. Her husband of over 45 years, Stephen Fair, survives. She leaves seven direct living descendants.

Barbara Ann Fair passed away Saturday, July 30, 2016 at her home in Casey County, KY. She was 68 years old.

Funeral services are 9amCT/10amET, Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Poplar Grove Cemetery. Visitation is 5pm-8pmCT/6pm-9pmET, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, and will continue Tuesday from 7amCT/8aamET, until funeral service.



Pallbearers are Mike Fair, Greg Rodgers, Bradley Fair, Tony Fair, Darrell McQueary, and Ray Ross.

Born October 2, 1947 in Casey County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Marie Wheeler Woodrum. She died Saturday, July 30, 2016, in Casey County, KY, at the age of 68 years, nine months, and 28 days.

She was a homemaker and was a member of the Faith Baptist Church. Barbara was an avid collector of angels.

Survivors include her husband, Stephen Fair, whom she married December 19, 1970, and the following:
  • Two sons: Mike (and Donna) Fair of Hustonville, KY; and Rodney Fair of Liberty, KY

  • A daughter: Stephanie Smothers of Bardstown, KY

  • Four grandchildren
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in dead by a brother, Bobby Woodrum and sister, Alma Helm.
