Tammy Reece, 44, Adair County, KY (1972-2016)

She and her husband Anthony Reece were owners and operators of Anthony's Auto Sales in Coburg, Adair County, KY. She was a native of Pulaski County, KY, and a resident of Adair County, KY, at the time of her death in Hall County, GA. She was the daughter of Johnny T. West and the late Mary Catharine Brown West. She leaves two direct and one step living descendants.

Tammy Renee Reece, 44, of Columbia, died Friday, July 15, 2016 on Lake Lanier in Hall County, GA as a result of a boating accident. Her husband Anthony died in the same accident.

A joint funeral service for Tammy & Anthony will be held Saturday, July 23, 2016, at 10amCT at the Adair County Middle School Gymnasium, 322 Gen. John Adair Drive, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Stanley Watson officiating. Burial will follow the service in Cane Valley Cemetery. Visitation is after 3pmCT, Friday, July 22, 2016, at the Adair County Middle School Gymnasium and after 7amCT Saturday until time of the funeral service.

She was born June 27, 1972, in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY. She was the daughter of Johnny T. West, who survives, and the late Mary Catherine Brown West. She died Friday, July 15, 2016 on Lake Lanier in Hall County, GA as a result of a boating accident, at the age of 44 years, 18 days.


She and her husband, Anthony Reece, who also died in the accident, were owners and operators of Anthony's Auto Sales in Adair County.

Survivors Include:
  • One daughter: Hailey McBeath of Columbia, KY

  • One son: Tristan Chase Reece of Columbia, KY

  • Her father: Johnny T. West of Russell Springs, KY

  • One sister: Sherry (Tim) West Patrick of Albany, KY

  • One granddaughter: Millie Ann Reece

  • Maternal grandmother: Ruby Brown of Indiana

  • Two nieces: Sarah & Cindy Patrick

  • Step-mother-in-law: Phyllis Reece of Russell Springs

  • Special friends: Dena Holt, Kim Kazsuk & Angie Cook

  • Several other relatives and friends
