Body of 88 year old man found in S. Columbia Ave. waterway

From Campbellsville 911

The Campbellsville Police Department today, Thursday, July 14, 2016, along with Taylor Co. Sheriff Department responded to a person in the waterway at the corner of South Columbia Avenue and Oak Street, Campbellsville, KY. Officers discovered an older white male unresponsive in the waterway.



The Taylor County Coroner's Office responded to the scene and the individual was pronounced deceased at this time.

The individual was identified as Walter Herman Tutt, 88 year old White Male, of 707 Dell Street, Campbellsville, KY.

A preliminary investigation showed no signs of foul play.

Campbellsville Police Officer Nelson Bishop is investigating.

Agencies involved: Campbellsville Police Department, Taylor County EMS, Campbellsville Fire Department, Taylor County Coroner's Office.
