Taylor Co. Grand Jury returns indictments 12 July 2016
Charges brought against 10 individuals, all from Campbellsville. Charges include assault, possession of various drugs, trafficking, DUI, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and failure to wear seat belts.
NOTE: Indictments are considered formal charges. An indictment is not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by indictment is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.
The Taylor County, KY Circuit Court grand jury, Campbellsville, KY, returned indictments against the following individuals on Tue 12 July 2016:
- John A. Sluder (09/15/1993), Mardis Rd., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 16-CR-00090. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Assault, 2nd degree. Bond set at $30,000 cash, no contact with victim/premises.
- William K. Thompson (05/25/1978), Crescent Hill Manor, Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 16-CR-00091. Charged with 4 counts. Count 1 - Operating motor vehicle under influence of alcohol/drugs/etc .08, 4th or subsequent offense. Count 2 - Driving DUI suspended license, 3rd offense, aggravator. Count 3 - Speeding 22mph over limit. Count 4 - Failure to wear seat belts. Bond set at $5,000 full cash, no driving, no use of drugs or alcohol.
- Justin G. Blakeburn (06/07/1981), Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 16-CR-00092. Charged with 4 counts. Count 1 - Trafficking in controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (2g+ methamphetamine). Count 2 - Possession of controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense, drug unspecified. Count 3 - Illegal possession of legend drug. Count 4 - Persistent felony offender, 1st degree. Bond set at $5,000 full cash, no use of drugs or alcohol, no violations of the law.
- Micah Sears (09/13/1982), North Poplar, Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 16-CR-00093. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Possession of controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (cocaine). Count 2 - Public intoxication controlled substance (excludes alcohol). Bond set at $2,000 full cash, no use of drugs or alcohol, no violations of the law.
- Rebecca Underwood (12/22/1977), Gaddis Ridge Rd., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 16-CR-00094. Charged with 9 counts. Count 1 - Possession controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (cocaine). Count 2 - Possession of controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (methamphetamine). Count 3 - Drug paraphernalia buy/possess. Count 4 - Operating a motor vehicle under influence of alcohol/drugs/etc .08, 1st offense. Count 5 - Possession of marijuana. Count 6 - Illegal possession of legend drug. Count 7 - Disregarding stop sign. Count 8 - No/expired registration plates. Count 9 - No/expired Kentucky registration receipt. Bond set at $2,000 cash, no alcohol, no illegal drug use.
- Leslie C. Frazier (01/03/1989), Roland St., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 16-CR-00095. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Convicted felon in possession of a handgun. Count 2 - Convicted felon in possession of a firearm. Bond set at $2,000 cash.
- Leslie C. Frazier (01/03/1989), Roland St., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 16-CR-00096. Charged with 6 counts. Count 1 - Trafficking in controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense, (<10 DU Drug Unspecified, while in possession of a firearm). Count 4 - Possession of controlled substance, 3rd degree, drug unspecified. Count 5 - Controlled substance prescription not in original container, 1st degree. Count 6 - Persistent felony offender. Bond set at $25,000/10%.
- Douglas D. Thompson (04/23/1972), Twin Creek Dr., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 16-CR-00097. Charged with 4 counts. Count 1 - Possession of controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (methamphetamine). Count 2 - Assault, 4th degree (domestic violence) minor injury. Count 3 - No/expired registration plates. Count 4 - No/expired Kentucky registration receipt. Bond set at $5,000 full cash, no use of drugs or alcohol, no violations of the law, no contact with complaining witness.

- Charles L. Waymon (02/28/1986), Tebbs Bend Rd., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 16-CR-00099. Charged with 7 counts. Count 1 - Possession of controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (cocaine). Count 2 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Count 3 - Operating a motor vehicle under influence of alcohol/drugs, etc. .08, 1st offense. Count 4 - License to be in possession. Count 5 - Failure to wear seat belts.
